Fear Can Be Paralyzing

Fear is a nasty beast that is part of the human factor, and something we all have to deal with in our lives. Any time we want to accomplish something outside of the "norm" it begins to immediately challenge our abilities. If allowed, it will occupy our every thought and paralyze us from any forward movement. We'll tell ourselves, "I'm okay right where I'm at", or "this person really wasn't right for me", and settle for the path of least resistance. Most will stay at that point the rest of their lives, having never used their gifts or talents to accomplish their goals and destiny.

Fear is valid, but it's how we deal with it that determines how we come out on the other side.

I think Carrie Fisher does a great job speaking to fear - "Stay afraid, but do it anyway. What’s important is the action. You don’t have to wait to be confident. Just do it and eventually the confidence will follow."
